When Kelley was in the 4th grade, her elementary school began teaching the children musical instruments.  One of her friends recommended they both take violin and they did, thus starting a long-lived adventure with the violin.  Kelley played classical music in orchestras, was the fiddler in “Fiddler on the Roof” in high school, and at UCLA played violin and sang in the UCLA mariachi band, which helped her pay for college.  After college she played in other bands such as pop, wedding and country/bluegrass bands where she mastered the fiddle standards “Devil went down to GA” and “Orange Blossom Special,” which are always crowd-pleasers.
